CSRME Held a Video Conference on the Evaluation of Scientific and Technological Achievements 

On December 30, 2020, the Chinese Society for Rock Mechanics and Engineering held a video conference on the evaluation of scientific and technological achievements of the project "Comprehensive Treatment Technology for Muck Improvement, Shield Tail Seal and Joint Leakage of Prefabricated Structures". The evaluation committee is composed of 7 experts including Qian Qihu, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering.

This project effectively solved the problems of water and mud inrush, and joint leakage of prefabricated structures caused by mud cake formed in clay layer, water and sand gush in sandy soil layer, and failure of shield tail seal.

The evaluation committee agreed that the research results of the project reached the international advanced level on the whole, and the muck improvement and assembly structure joint leakage treatment technology reached the international advanced level. The evaluation of scientific and technological achievements passed smoothly.
